How was the Mocca Java first created? In the 15th century, when Yemen coffee beans were shipped out across the Red Sea, the Indonesian sailors on board would meet their stop at the island of Java. So, in some instances, the beans would blend, and when people tasted the combination, they were immediately hooked––the first Mocha Java may have been an accident, but it was a happy one we enjoy to this day. This blend is a true Mocca Java that takes beans from the Yemen region of Mocca and the Island of Java.
This blend will be roasted to a medium roast.
